廖海燕同學奠儀

敬啟者：

11月30日，花園街排檔大火波及附近樓宇，造成九死三十三人傷之火災，當中死難者之一：廖海燕，為本校〈語言及翻譯〉系的遙距學生。校方徵得廖同學家人的同意，於中國銀行開始專戶﹝012-811-0-000590-6﹞以收奠儀。

本會為表哀思，經執委會通過，撥出港元壹仟元為帛金，存入中國銀行之專戶。

致輓帛金移交喪生同學家人

於本月初花園街大火中不幸喪生的本校同學廖海燕，已於十二月十八日入土為安。
本校師生校友合共捐贈帛金$21,850致唁，將於日內由校方全數轉交海燕父親。
廖父與家人心情大致平復，他感謝本校有心人士的關懷和協助。

Funeral Gifts to Family of Deceased Student

Funeral service of Miss Liu Hoi Yin who lost her life in the fire in Fa Yuen Street has been completed on 18 December.
The collected funeral gifts from students, colleagues, tutors and alumni totaling $21,850 will soon be handed over in full to Miss Liu’s father.
Mr Liu and his family members expressed their heartfelt thanks to the University and those who have shown their concern and generosity.
